Day Seven | 6 December 2016, Tuesday

Good bye to Osaka, I departed for Tokyo today.
  • Character Shopping Street @ Tokyo Station
  • Alice in Wonderland @ Shinjuku

Life... is eating a cup noodle 0800 in the morning under 9degrees at your balcony.

I checked out of my apartment and took a roughly 3.5 hours journey from Osaka to my apartment in Tokyo. I also ended my solo trip as I was joining my other friend whom was also in Tokyo at the same time as me to travel together!

Character Shopping Street @ Tokyo Station

Address: 1 Chome-9 Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan
Nearest Station: Near JR “Tokyo” Station Yaesu Underground Central Exit

We met up at Tokyo Station for a simple lunch over a diner which I can't recall what name. I went to check-in and after that came back again to Toyko Station to meet her and shopped lightly at this character shopping street within Tokyo Station.

As quoted from this website, "The area features 21 stores with themes according to well-known popular characters including Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty and Snoopy. In an event space called ‘Ichiban Plaza’, there are various shops open only for a limited time."

So if you love characters and their merchandise, you ought not to miss this place because my friend shopped at least an hour at this small area of just 21 stores lol.

Alice in Wonderland @ Shinjuku

Address: 3rd Floor 160-0023 Tokyo Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, 1-5-1 Shinjuku Nishiguchi Hulk Underground
Nearest Station: Shinjuku
Spent: 3800yen /pax

It's actually at basement within a mall.

So upon arrival, you get to choose a rabbit hairband to wear!

This was on the house.

The Mad Hatter, how about tea? (Avocado & Shrimp WASABI Mayonnaise Dip), 400yen

Left: Lychee & Grapde Cocktail, 800yen
Right: Cassis & Oolong Tea, 800yen

Talking Flower Salad with Raw Ha & Cream Cheese, 850yen

Soy Milk Cream Carbonara with Pancetta & Mushroom, 1,050yen

Tomato Cream Spaghetti with Shrimp & Spinach, 1,100yen

Mixed Berry Parfait with a prayer on Cheshire Cat's Magic Wand, 880yen

It was the first most expensive meal I had in Japan. The dishes weren't bad, of course I can't say they are fantastic but just don't order the dessert we ordered. Better to be just photo-worthy that's about it. Hahaha.

And before you leave, they will give you this as a little souvenir.

And Hello, Shibuya.

Day Eight | 7 December 2016, Wednesday

I basically spent the entire day in DisneySea... So I'd just share shots I took in DisneySea! Totally love my first ever Disney experience! We stayed from 0900 all the way till 2100 and headed home after the fireworks at 2030.

We had our breakfast, lunch, and dinner all settled within DisneySea and I must admit, the food is actually good. We had a decent breakfast for about 1,000~1,200yen and lunch was just random snacks on the go which range from about 300~450yen each. Dinner was also about 1,200yen. I was actually expecting the food prices to be really expensive but to my surprise it wasn't so! Bonus was the food was good!

We didn't managed to sit any thrill rides because the queues were always damn long but we did watched 2 good shows and had loads of fun still!

DisneySea requires you to take the Disney train but we chose to take a morning chilly walk! It was about 15-20 minutes? Totally a great morning exercise!

Sausage that was actually very good despite its looks. 350yen (I think)

Peach and something, this is really good! Not just cute but tasty too! I think it should be 350 or 450yen.

Churros with potato filling inside, I was hoping for Chocolate but... this was good too!

Fireworks wasn't fantastic but who doesn't like fireworks? Teehee.

Loved the entire day, and love everything about Disney. Thanks for bringing me back to being 12 again!
